What is the 'particulier' space on impots.gouv.fr?

The ‘particulier’ space on impots.gouv.fr is a secure platform designed to facilitate most of your procedures online. It eliminates the need for physical visits, allowing you to manage your taxes conveniently.

How to create your 'particulier' space?

Create your ‘particulier’ space is straightforward. You’ll need:

Your tax number: Your tax number appears on the first page on your last tax return. Made up of 13 digits, this number is the unique identifier to use for all your tax procedures.

Where to find your tax number? The tax number appears on your pre-completed tax return and on your tax notices. If you cannot find your tax number, go the access page on your ‘particulier’ space, click on ‘where to find your tax number’ on the help section and then on ‘receive your tax number by email’.

Your online declarant number: Your online filer number can be found on the first page of your latest tax return. This number changes every year.

Your reference tax income: Your reference tax income can be found on the last page of your latest income tax notice in the ‘your references’ box.

How to declare your income online

Once you’re logged into your ‘particulier’ space, select the ‘Declare my income’ service. Your declaration will be pre-filled with known information. Ensure details are accurate, especially taxable income and withholding taxes. You can cross-verify with your annual summary or pay slips for the year.

Making corrections: If corrections are needed, you can rectify or add information directly online. Regardless of whether your declaration is classic or automatic, don’t forget to sign it after making changes.
